Keeping New Trees Water When Time is Factor

Get a 5-gallon bucket. Using a drill make a small hole just large enough for a nail to fit in. Place the bucket on a bed of rocks near the base of the tree. Fill the bucket with water then remove the nail.

Keeping Spidermites off Tomatoes

Plant basil between tomato plants. The spidermites will feed on the basil instead.

Fire Ants

Sprinkling Purex (or other washing machine detergent) around the and on the mounds will cause the fire ants to move. It will not get rid of them, but it will encourage them to leave the yard or area.
